Horror flick Leprechaun 2 is reviewed

This isn't actually a sequel to the first "Leprechaun," but rather a "Nightmare on Elm Street" rip-off, since the main character seems to have magical abilities much beyond those he had in the first. It's a meaner and gorier picture, but it's also a dumber one; there are some insultingly stupid moments (particularly the two "red herrings", which may make you stop watching it right then and there). Overall, even bad-movie fans may Leprechaun 2 struggle with this one.
